Calderdale Rail Tour

This saturday is an epic 52nd anniversary trip for Leeds Morris Men and the Manchester Morris Men and the Morris dancing we are going to do.  We are showing some great cross penning friendship and dancing together.  White rose and red will join for a great day of dance.  The itinerary is below for proposed times for the event, and a much better post will come after including pictures and an interesting post.

A member of the original tour from 1959 will be on the trip, but unfortunately Leeds’ Norman; one of the original members of the Leeds Morris Men founders and one of the dancers in the original calderdale tour is on holiday so will unfortunately miss it.  This just means that we need to take enough pictures to make the day most memorable, even for people that weren’t here for the actual event.

Alternatively a day rover + Manchester – Todmorden at £7.30 so £13.00 total. (could get a Walsden single but limits them to an hourly services rather than 3 per hour from Todmorden.)
